Thanks for reading this! As your Conservative Candidate for Ashford East it is important that we form partnerships within the community to better life’s standards to be enjoyed by the all the people of the Division.
Since emigrating to England from Australia in 2001 I have been busy, most importantly marrying Reverend Sue. Most people get married by a vicar where I married the vicar and we settled in Ashford. We are now both semi-retired with my sole focus on representing the people that have elected me to office. Since 2006 I have served on my local Parish Council bringing Super-Fast Broadband to a rural village and a great local project that now funds even more local projects and amenities. In 2015 I was elected to the Borough Council and currently serve as the Council’s Representative on Charity Boards as well as Council Committees in order to better serve the people of Ashford.
Ashford East is fortunate to have many local facilities not least William Harvey Hospital and the Designer Outlet. I know which I would rather visit but both need attention in terms of traffic management and parking. In fact these issues are probably the most talked about in the County and ones I believe need examining and possible alternates so lives are less interrupted throughout the area?
Another significant issue is to ensure that like my own home the entire Division is serviced by Super-Fast Broadband, there is no such thing as too fast and like “oxygen” is to us it is vital to businesses and householders alike.
Make your vote count on May 4 and put me to work in Ashford East making things better for you!
