I was brought up in a Council House, but I went to Grammar School, then to Oxford University, and I had a successful business career.
I have been in Ashford for twelve years, and I live near Charing with my wife. I served on Ashford Borough Council from 2011 to 2015, with two years on the Cabinet.
Conservative Local Government is working in Ashford, with a new college, numerous other developments and M20 J10a, all bringing new life and jobs to the town.
But we need to do much better in parts of Ashford South, where problem parking, traffic flow, crime & anti-social behaviour, litter, badly maintained public spaces, problem homes in multiple occupancy and poor quality housing, all affect your daily quality of life.
If you elect me as your County Councillor, I will ensure that Kent County Council supports the strategic improvements everyone seeks for Ashford South and I will work tirelessly to get Conservatives working together at County, Borough and National level, to deliver the joined-up radical thinking needed to make dramatic change happen.
I come from an ordinary background and I understand what you want, so Vote David Robey Conservative on 4th May for Action in Ashford South.
